You can ask at any time for your OstadTools account and all associated data to be deleted: profile, classes, students, tests, results, photos of test papers, messages.
Before deletion
Export what you want to keep: Massar-compatible Excel / CSV results, PDF reports, tests (JSON export from "My tests").
How to ask
- Send an e-mail to admin@ostadtools.com from your account's e-mail address, with the subject "Account deletion".
- We confirm your identity if necessary.
- The account and data are deleted within 30 days at most; you receive a confirmation.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile;
- your classes, students, tests, gradings, marks and photos of test papers;
- your messages and notifications;
- data linked to Google sign-in, if you used it (you can also remove OstadTools's access in your Google account settings).
What may be kept
Payment information needed for accounting obligations, for the legal period; technical backups, erased automatically within 30 days after deletion; public forum posts, made anonymous.
Delete only the photos
In "Settings → Privacy", each teacher chooses how long photos of test papers are kept and can delete old photos; marks remain saved.
