Grading a multiple-choice test with your phone: a step-by-step guide

Why grade with a camera?

A checkbox test is quick to grade… but copying scores, validating domains and filling in Massar takes hours. OstadTools automates what can be automated and lets you check doubtful cases.

The steps

  1. Describe the test: pages, items, questions and correct answers (or generate it with QCM test generator).
  2. Import the class from the Massar file.
  3. Link your phone by scanning the QR code shown on the PC.
  4. Photograph each page: ticked boxes are detected, scores and V/N are shown.
  5. Copy in red pen and confirm. Uncertain answers are always shown to you.
  6. Export the results to Massar.
